Invocations for breaking the fast

الدعاء عند إفطار الصائم

1. 1

   ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ العُرُوقُ، وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

   Transliteration: Thahabath-thama-o wabtallatil-AAurooq, wathabatal-ajru in shaal-lah.

   Translation: The thirst has gone and the veins are quenched, and reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.

2. 2

   اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي

   Transliteration: Allahumma inne as-aluka birahmatikal-latee wasiAAat kulla shay, an taghfira lee.

   Translation: O Allah, I ask You by Your mercy which envelopes all things, that You forgive me.
